Vision and Hearing Impairment/Deaf Education Service - Vision and/or Hearing Impairment Pre-School Group
Vision and Hearing Impairment/Deaf Education Service - Vision and/or Hearing Impairment Pre-School Group
0 Reviews
Our pre-school group is for children with a vision/Hearing Impairment and is currently held at Elton Primary School. There are always 2-3 team members present but the parents/carers of the children are requested to stay.
We offer organised sensory activities and specialist targeted learning experiences. We give access to specialist equipment and encourage free play in safe and secure surroundings. We also offer a healthy snack.
We feel the group gives not only a social opportunity to the children but also support to the parents.
Tuesdays. Term time only. 9.45-11.15am. Alternative contact number 0161 253 6134.

Details
- Our pre-school sessions are very small in numbers and (grand)parents/carers are asked to stay with their child where we have a range of sensory fun activities, singing and snack time. Sessions at the school are term time only and are held on a Tuesday morning between 09.45-11.15am. Attendance is by invite only. We ask that you please confirm if you wish to be added to our sessions’ what’s app group from where we send our invites on a Monday afternoon. Replies enable us to staff the session appropriately and plan for our delivery. We’d love for you to give us a try!
