Volunteering at the Fed

0 Reviews

Volunteer services are a huge part of our work - last year alone, volunteers gave a staggering 28,500 hours of their time. Much of this focussed on befriending the many people in our community who may feel alone, or suffer from total isolation.

As well as supporting individual people, volunteers help run many of our services and departments: our My Voice project; activities at Heathlands Village; activities in our Childrens' Centre; our mental health Drop-In and Community Cafe, our Central Cafe; and our Charity Shop.

They help out in our offices, they answer phones.

Volunteers are at the heart of almost everything we do, and we simply would not be The Fed without them - and we're always looking to ADD to their numbers!
