Hello!

My name is Sam Heaven and I am an OFSTED registered childminder and former teacher. I can offer your child and family the best of both worlds - an excellent EYFS education in a safe and nurturing home.

I have a dedicated playroom and separate front room as a large securely enclosed garden. We have off street parking too, but our road is really quiet. We live in the area between Bury and Bolton Road and Ainsworth Road (known locally as the Seddon's Farm Estate) and it provides great transport links to Bury town centre, Ainsworth, Bolton and Radcliffe. Its also superbly situated for local bus routes and the motorway.

Play Room - this is set up as a welcoming space and is where most of your child's indoor play will take place. It is a safe and engaging environment, created specifically for young children and babies. All the furniture is 'child sized' and can be arranged to suit the activities and interests of the children. The resources are accessible for free play and will always be age appropriate, taking into consideration that there may be a baby and young children using the space at the same time.

Front Room - This is a secondary space and will be used for nap times or when your child needs more room.

Outdoors - Your child will spend lots of time outdoors in wellies or sunhats during their time at Blue Button Childcare. We have created a fantastic, safe and child friendly and enclosed garden with a large artificial lawn, gravel borders and a decked area. It also has resources including a wooden water tray, sand tray and mud kitchen as well as lots of other toys

Whilst in my care, your child will be encouraged to explore, play, learn and have lots of fun by taking part in a wide range of activities and excursions based around the things they love to do. Your child will be looked after by a caring and committed Early Years professional who "has a sound understanding of how young children learn and develop".

We have a lot of adventures, both locally and further afield so your children get lots of fantastic experiences. These includes trips to high quality soft play centres, National Trust sites, local farms, green spaces, museums, galleries, Eureka and lots more!

Cultural Provisions Details: I have cared for children from countries around the world and have successfully taught many children whose first langage is not English - sometimes those children and their families have only spoken a little Enlgish or none at all. In terms of dietary needs, I am unable to provide a Halal or Kosher diet, but I am happy to adjust menus to provide a vegetarian option if this is sufficient.
