0 Reviews

This service, very reluctantly, is suspended from the 21st March 2020 until further notice. Majority of volunteers in the "at risk" category.

For visually impaired residents of Bury and any who have moved away.

Bury Pipeline is a weekly 60 minute recording on CD or USB memory stick of news from the Bury Times, Radcliffe Times  Also available are weekly recordings of Woman's Weekly and a monthly recording of Lancashire Magazine. These are only available in USB format.

The service is free of charge and the recordings are delivered free by Royal Mail as Articles for the Blind. The recordings come in yellow postal wallets - the postal wallets with the USBs must be returned before another one is sent out. The CDs cannot be re-used so there is no need to return them. Obviously the postal wallet must be returned.
