What is the Provider Portal?

The Provider Portal is an online form Childcare Providers complete detailing information on their setting.  Although we no longer upload information provided via the Portal to the internet there are times Providers will still need to go on and update this way.

How it Works

Each Provider is forwarded log in details and a password to enable them to access the portal.  The Provider then updates their own information.

The main things we will ask you to update are your costs information or details of the number of places you can supply or your vacancies.

We need this information not to supply to parents but our own reporting, such as the Childcare Sufficiency Assessment (CSA), or where we have to provide statistical information to Government departments and Portal updates are the best method for manipulating such statistical data.

The first time you log in you will need to change your password. Family Information Service will not have details of your changed password but, will be able to reset  it on request.

 How Often do I update my details?

It is recommended you update your details as and when necessary, but at least once a term or when requested via the Family Information Service.

If you provide funded places it is part of the EEC (Early Education & Childcare) contract that Providers need to update the Portal with their headcount information each term, further details on this can be found o the Early Education & Childcare (EEC) Information for Registered Childcare Providers on The Bury Directory.
